June has been one of our busiest and most rewarding months to date, with homeowners across the North East, Yorkshire and the Scottish Borders choosing Solar EV North to deliver bespoke renewable energy systems designed around quality, performance and long-term reliability.
Every home is different, which is why every system we install is individually designed to suit the customer’s energy requirements, lifestyle and future plans. Throughout June we’ve worked on everything from large multi-elevation solar arrays to complete home energy systems incorporating battery storage, whole-home backup and electric vehicle charging.
What has stood out this month is the growing demand for complete energy independence. More customers are no longer looking for solar panels alone—they’re investing in systems that generate electricity, intelligently store excess energy, charge their electric vehicles and continue powering their homes during grid outages.
Designed Without Compromise
One of our standout projects this month was completed on a stunning property in County Durham.
The brief was simple: maximise solar generation without compromising the appearance of the home.
Using 35 Solarwatt Vision 5.0 Black glass-glass panels installed across four separate roof elevations, we created a 15.75kWp system capable of generating exceptional levels of renewable energy while maintaining a clean, architectural finish.
Every visible component was specified in black, from the mounting rails and clamps to the bird protection system, ensuring the installation looked as impressive as it performs.
Projects like this perfectly demonstrate our approach to renewable energy—performance and aesthetics should always go hand in hand.
Complete Home Energy Systems
Several installations completed during June featured complete home energy ecosystems, combining premium solar technology with intelligent battery storage and whole-home backup.
In Coldstream, we commissioned a 7.9kWp Solarwatt system paired with a GoodWe ESA All-in-One incorporating a 10kW hybrid inverter and 16kWh of battery storage.
In Great Lumley, another customer invested in one of our largest residential battery systems to date, combining a 7.9kWp Solarwatt array with an impressive 24kWh GoodWe All-in-One battery system and an Andersen EV Quartz charger. With whole-home backup configured, the property can continue operating even during power cuts, giving the homeowner complete peace of mind.
Similar systems were completed throughout Morpeth, Hexham and Middleton Tyas, each designed around the customer’s individual energy requirements while providing the flexibility to generate, store and intelligently manage their own electricity.
It’s clear that battery storage is becoming just as important as solar generation, with more homeowners recognising the benefits of using their own energy long after the sun has gone down.
Premium Technology We Believe In
At Solar EV North, we only install products we genuinely believe offer the best combination of quality, reliability and long-term value.
Throughout June our customers chose Solarwatt’s premium German-engineered glass-glass solar panels, backed by an industry-leading 30-year product and performance warranty.
Our battery installations continued to feature both Solarwatt Battery Vision systems and GoodWe’s innovative ESA All-in-One platform, delivering intelligent energy management together with whole-home backup capability.
We also completed several Andersen EV charger installations. Manufactured in Great Britain and renowned for their beautiful design, Andersen chargers continue to be one of the most premium charging solutions available and integrate perfectly with solar generation and off-peak electricity tariffs.
Combined with premium mounting systems, PV Ultra cabling and discreet all-black bird protection, every installation completed this month reflects the high standards we set ourselves on every project.
Looking Ahead
As renewable technology continues to evolve, we’re seeing homeowners invest in more complete and intelligent energy solutions than ever before.
It’s an exciting time for the industry, and we’re proud to be helping customers throughout the North East make the transition towards cleaner, smarter and more independent energy.
We’d like to thank every customer who trusted Solar EV North during June. Your support allows us to continue doing what we love—delivering high-quality installations that are built to perform for decades to come.
With another busy month already underway, we look forward to sharing even more exciting projects in our July Round-Up.
