Solar EV North is pleased to announce the successful completion of a 75-property solar PV programme in Perkinsville, delivering on-roof solar panel installations, bird protection measures, and extractor fan upgrades to improve ventilation and help prevent mould within homes.
This project demonstrates a holistic approach to retrofit, combining renewable energy generation with practical property improvements that enhance both building performance and resident wellbeing.
On-Roof Solar PV Installations
Each property received a professionally designed on-roof solar PV system, installed to maximise energy generation while maintaining roof integrity and long-term reliability. These systems will help residents reduce their reliance on grid electricity, lowering energy costs and supporting wider decarbonisation objectives.
All installations were completed in line with current standards, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and consistency across the programme.
Bird Protection for Long-Term Asset Care
As part of the works, bird protection systems were installed to prevent nesting beneath solar panels. This helps to:
